Being a small business competing in a highly competitive market, the client needed a way to build trust, loyalty, and rapour with local customers while operating at a much lower capacity than more established names.
Our goal for this project was to build a memorable brand, a website that converts visitors, and an automated touchpoint system that helps with their sales process so that the company could focus more manpower into their services and less on their marketing. In order to achieve this we saw three things as vital to their success:

The key to a successful website is branding. Your website is your sales person. It is the representation of your values, mission, and promise. People don’t always remember what you do, but they will always remember how you made them feel. That’s why a good brand needs to connect with its target audience in two levels. Emotional & Physical.

The client already had a website but no data was being collected. No analytics we’re attached and no emails were ever collected in its 1 year of operation. This made our research highly speculative and completely rooted on market research. We also wanted them to not make this mistake again, so we set up their website analytics, google business listing, and search console so that they had everything needed to improve their service over time.
We set up the website to be mobile friendly as most of their Google Business visitors we’re accessing their listings on mobile devices. We made a blog in case they ever wanted to improve on their website and Search Engine Optimization. And we built the website to convert visitors with a simple easy to use form.
The result was a website that converted at 4%.
A great result without A/B Testing and access to user data.
As a small business its difficult to keep track of everyone you network with, meet, and build relationships with. That’s why setting up a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Database for the client was a crucial step in the process.
CRM systems compile data from a range of different communication channels, like a website, phone calls, email, live chat, marketing materials and social media. They allow businesses to learn more about their target audiences and how to best cater for their needs, retain customers and drive sales growth. CRM may be used with past, present or potential customers and allow one source of communication for all employees. Now that we had a means of attracting and converting potential customers. And a database to store all that information we needed to implement a communication method. Remember that headspace is the name of the game. That’s why we created different emails and videos depending on specific customer needs. If a customer needed a “roofing” job, they would get a specific message based on that need. If they were interested in a “siding” job then their email would be different.
On top of this, we wanted to retain the customer through the whole process and afterwards. So we created emails to fit those specific needs. We found that videos can help increase your conversion rate by 80% so we prepared videos for every email in order to optimize their results.
