Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Taurist Technologies Inc. ("Taurist," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit or contact Taurist Technologies, Conversion Works, Siteworks, or Workers.
01Overview
This policy applies to our marketing websites, inquiry forms, careers applications, Taurist Field Notes newsletter, chat experiences, booking flows, and related communications for Taurist Technologies, Conversion Works, Siteworks, and Workers. It is meant to explain our website, subscriber, prospect-facing, and applicant privacy practices in plain language.
If you become a client, signed proposals, statements of work, subscriptions, data processing terms, or other written agreements may include additional privacy and data handling terms. Those documents control where they say something different from this policy.
We do not sell personal information. We also do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Information from third-party tools
We may receive limited information from tools you use to interact with us, such as scheduling providers, email services, analytics platforms, hosting providers, and lead handling systems.
03How we use information
We use information for practical business purposes, including to:

04Taurist Field Notes newsletter
Taurist Field Notes is an optional weekly newsletter for small-business operators about conversion, websites, AI workers, and small-team systems. We plan to send one practical email every Tuesday. You are not subscribed merely by entering an address: you must use the confirmation link in the email we send before the weekly newsletter begins.
We use Resend as our email delivery provider to send confirmation, welcome, and newsletter messages and to process operational events such as deliveries, bounces, complaints, unsubscribes, and link clicks. We use those records to operate the publication, understand acquisition and engagement, protect sender reputation, and honor suppression requests.
Our consent record may include your email address, signup URL and normalized source, acquisition channel, the version of the signup language presented, request and confirmation timestamps, and subscription lifecycle. We keep consent and suppression records for as long as reasonably necessary to demonstrate a valid subscription, honor an unsubscribe, resolve delivery issues, and meet applicable legal obligations.
You can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any Field Notes email or contacting us. Unsubscribing stops future newsletter sends. We may retain a limited suppression record so that the address is not added again accidentally.
05Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to run the site, remember preferences, understand website usage, and support embedded demos or third-party tools.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how some parts of the site work. Where required, we will ask for consent before using non-essential cookies.
06How we share information
We share information only when it helps us operate the sites, respond to you, provide services, or meet legal obligations.
- Service providers that support hosting, analytics, scheduling, email delivery (including Resend), security, automation, lead handling, and business operations.
- Within Taurist so we can route your inquiry to the right brand, team, or service.
- Legal and safety purposes when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, security, users, or our business.
- Business transfers if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information.
07Retention
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to respond to you, operate our business, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it, anonymize it, or keep it only in a limited archival form where legally or operationally necessary. This may include retaining a limited newsletter consent or suppression record after an unsubscribe so we can document the request and avoid sending again.
08Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, secure hosting practices, monitoring, and encryption in transit where appropriate.
No website, network, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. If we learn of an incident that requires notice, we will provide notice as required by applicable law.
09Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to personal information, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or to opt out of certain uses such as marketing communications.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the email or contact us at the address below. We may need to verify your request before acting on it, and some information may be kept where allowed or required by law.
10Children's privacy
Our websites and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
11International visitors
Taurist is based in the United States. If you access our websites from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws different from where you live.
12Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our business, websites, tools, or legal obligations change. When we update it, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Material changes may receive additional notice when appropriate.
