Founder-led can become a slogan if it does not change the way work actually happens. For us, it means the project stays close to the people responsible for the outcome. Strategy is not passed through layers. Feedback does not disappear into account management. The person shaping the work is near the person making it real.
That does not mean every project is only two people in a room. It means responsibility stays visible. When outside help is needed, it is added around a clear owner, not used to create distance.
Why small matters
Small teams have a communication advantage. They can hear nuance, change direction quickly, and keep the original problem alive throughout the build. Large teams can be useful for large systems, but they can also create translation layers that make simple work feel theatrical.
Most projects do not fail because there were not enough meetings. They fail because the decision-makers, makers, and reviewers lost a shared picture of what matters.
How we staff
We start with the shape of the problem. If the work is conversion diagnosis, Edu carries the strategy and buyer-behavior layer. If the work is systems or AI workers, Rich carries the technical architecture. If the work crosses both, the project is shaped together before any production rhythm starts.
