Q: What if one of our applications has no API?

The Worker can use the browser to work through the application’s interface. Files, imports and other available connection methods can also support the job. We determine the route for the actions the work needs.

Q: Can the Worker use different formats and methods within one job?

Yes. One job can involve interpreting a document, gathering context from several systems, processing the information, updating a record and taking the next action. The Worker is built around how those steps fit together and what the business needs to achieve.

Q: Can we choose where reports go and how often they arrive?

Yes. You choose the destination, format and timing: on a schedule, after an event or whenever you ask. Every activity is recorded, and you decide who can review those records and how.

Q: Do we need to give the Worker our own credentials?

The setup varies by job and system. A Worker can get its own credentials. We identify the accounts and permissions needed, along with any setup or verification that requires your team’s involvement.

Q: What happens with two-factor authentication or identity checks?

We have made Workers operate with systems that use two-factor authentication, though some verification steps still need a person. ID.me is a limitation we have encountered where verification needs to stay with that person. We account for these steps when planning the work.

Q: What happens if access fails or an application changes?

Access problems come to Taurist to investigate. Monitoring, maintenance and ongoing review help us identify what needs attention and adapt the Worker’s setup. If resolving the issue requires your administrator or a business decision, we bring the relevant context to the right person.

Q: What if information disagrees between systems?

The Worker follows the rules defined for the job, bringing discrepancies and context to your designated person when a decision is needed. Work that does not depend on that decision can continue in the meantime.
