Does owning my setup mean I own Taurist’s software?
Your business knowledge, instructions, workflows and configuration stay yours. Taurist retains its proprietary execution software, reusable components and hosting platform. Those power your Worker as part of the managed service.
What happens to code written for my Worker?
The distinction is what the code contains. Your business rules must remain available in an understandable, usable form. Taurist’s reusable execution software remains proprietary. The engagement defines any separately commissioned software deliverables and their rights.
What happens to accounts and the dedicated environment?
Your existing business accounts remain yours. Taurist administers the service infrastructure it provides. The handover plan sets out account transfers or reconnections, third-party restrictions and any agreed transfer of the dedicated environment. Taurist’s shared hosting services and proprietary execution software do not transfer with it.
Could another provider run the work?
They can use your information and setup to build a replacement. They will need their own execution technology and must reconnect and test the work. Receiving your materials does not include a standalone Taurist Worker or a continuing license to our managed platform.
What happens to remaining data after handover?
Return, retention and deletion arrangements are agreed for the deployment, including relevant logs, backups and connected providers.
